Nature Journaling Workshop

Nature journaling workshops will be offered at Kershaw Ryan State Park throughout the spring and summer of 2023. Nature journaling is a concept where observation and artistic rendering of nature themes leads to a greater appreciation of the outdoors and a deeper connection to a physical environment. An instructor will be present to teach artistic concepts as they relate to illustrating plants and birds. The workshop will also introduce the concept of regular nature journaling as a way to connect to the outdoors and the environment.

WHERE: Kershaw Ryan State Park, approximately 2 miles south of Caliente NV on highway 317.

COST:  Free to attend, park entry fees apply ($5.00/vehicle)
