Make your own unique sun prints using cyanotype paper and sunlight!

Location: Washoe Lake State Park Day Use Area

Need to Know:

  • Pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times
  • Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.
  • Meet at the Day Use Area near the boat ramp

What to Bring

  • Water
  • Hat and sun protection
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Any interesting natural objects you’d like to use

What to Expect

  • Outdoor setting with opportunities for questions and discussion
  • Opportunity to explore the area and choose your own natural materials
  • An easy and fun artistic activity that’s great for all ages
  • All supplies are provided by the park

Fees & Registration

  • Drop-ins welcome, no registration required
  • No program fee
  • Park entrance fees: $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents, $10 for out-of-state residents
