JANUARY NIGHT HIKES 2026

Dates and Locations * :
January 1: White Domes Loop (1 mile) - Moon Hike
January 2: Seven Wonders Loop (counter-clockwise) (2 miles) - Moon Hike
January 16: Elephant Rock Loop (1.25 miles) - Starry Hike
January 17: Mouse's Tank (0.75 miles) - Starry Hike
* Except for the specific trail listed on each date above, trails in the park are CLOSED from sunset to sunrise each day. *
WHEN:
Arrive to the trailheads between 5:00 and 6:00 PM.
You must be back in your vehicle no later than 7:00 PM.
DETAILS:
- Tealights will guide the way on these self-guided hikes under the moon and stars.
- Please bring a flashlight with a red, blue, or green setting; these colors are less disturbing to other hikers and wildlife.
- Quiet voices are greatly appreciated.
