Guided Walk Through Dayton State Park

Dayton State Park

Join park staff for a guided walk through Dayton State Park. This easy walk is approximately one mile in length. We will briefly discuss the area’s natural and human history as we walk through riparian and desert habitats. Participants should wear sturdy hiking boots, bring water and binoculars, and dress for the weather. The walk is mostly flat, but we will be walking over uneven rocky and sandy areas. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Participants should bring water, sunscreen, insect repellant, and wear comfortable walking shoes. We will meet at the park entrance.
