Nevada’s Newest State Park Needs a Name
Nevada has a new state park, but it needs a name.

The hike is fairly easy and all skill levels are welcome. Participants should bring their own snowshoes, water and dress in layers as temperatures can vary. Dogs are also welcome provided they are on a leash.
WHEN: Sunday, March 12, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
WHERE: Meet in the parking lot to the right after the driveway splits. Spooner Lake State Park is located .25 miles north of Highway 50 on State Route 28.
COST: Event is free, but park entrance fees apply. Entry is $7.00 per vehicle, Nevada residents receive a $2.00 discount.
