Deadman’s Creek Guided Hike

Join park staff for a guided hike to the gazebo above the Deadman’s Creek Trail. This hike is 1.5 miles round-trip with an elevation gain of 380 feet. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a six-foot leash at all times. Participants should bring sun protection, water, a camera, and wear comfortable hiking shoes.     

WHEN: Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Meet at the boat ramp parking lot inside the park on the south end of the lake. Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. for four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn left past the fee booth follow the road to the boat ramp.

COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents and $10 per vehicle for non-Nevada residents. We can accept cash, check, or credit cards. There is no additional fee for this event.

WHO: This event is open to the public and is hosted by Washoe Lake State Park.
