Winter Solstice Ranger Led Night Hike

Join us on the Winter Solstice for the last ranger-led hike of 2019 as we venture to the heights of Sandstone Canyon, and walk beneath the star-lit eaves of our three-hundred year old ash tree grove! We’ll glimpse what creatures come out at night, and see how night transforms the Red Rock escarpment. This hike is about two miles long, and will cover rocky, uneven terrain. Please dress appropriately, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring water and a flashlight. This hike is appropriate for children ages seven and up.
Dogs are welcome on a 6ft leash.

The hike will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We will be closing the entrance gate to the park at 4:00 PM so you want to be in the park and ready to hike by 4:00 PM.

There is a $10 per vehicle entrance fee to the park and there is no additional cost to attend the event.
