CANCELED: Full Moon Hike

This event has been canceled.

Reservations are required for this guided hike along the East Loop Equestrian Trail and can be made by calling (775) 687-4319 or e-mailing wlsp@parks.nv.gov. This trail is approximately 4 miles long and involves walking in loose sand. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash. Participants should wear sturdy hiking shoes, dress in layers for the weather, bring drinking water, and bring a flashlight.
WHEN: Tuesday, April 7, 2020, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHERE: Washoe Lake State Park Equestrian Area. Take Exit 10 from I-580 for Eastlake Boulevard. Drive north approximately four miles and the park entrance is on the left. Turn right past the fee booth, pass the campground, and follow the short gravel road to the equestrian pavilion.
COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle. There is no additional charge for this event.
