Astronomy in the Park

You might be surprised by how bright the stars are just 20 miles from downtown Las Vegas. Join the Las Vegas Astronomical Society for an evening of star gazing through the use of their excellent telescopes and knowledgeable guidance as you peer into the distant past of our universe. This event will take place in the evening after regular park hours so dress for the cooler temperatures. This event does not require a reservation.

WHEN: Saturday, March 24, 7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.

WHERE: Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, located 11 miles down Highway 159 from the I-215 / West Charleston Boulevard intersection. 6375 Nevada Hwy 159, Blue Diamond NV 89004.

COST: Entry to Spring Mountain State Park is $10 per vehicle. Cash, Visa, and MasterCard are accepted at the fee station. There is no additional fee for this event.
