Yerba Mansa Bloom Mother’s Day Hike

Explore the shady, cool hollows of Spring Mountain Ranch and discover the ivory white flower cones of the yerba mansa plants. This moderately strenuous ranger-guided hike will last about 1.5 hours and will cover about 1.5 miles. Please wear comfortable, closed toes shoes, a hat and bring at least one liter of water per person. 

WHEN: Sunday, May 14 at 9 a.m.

WHERE: Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located 11 miles from the I-215 / West Charleston Boulevard intersection on Highway 159 at 6375 Nevada Highway 159, Blue Diamond, NV 89004.

COST: Entry to Spring Mountain State Park is $9 per vehicle, with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. An annual pass for Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is available for $65. There is no additional fee for this event.
