The Story of this Land - White Domes
The forces of nature can be powerful, and often, it can be hard to imagine that wind, rain, snow, and ice created the landscape we see today. Join a ranger for a 1 1/2 hour moderate hike along the Fire Wave Trail, and unravel the story of the rocks and how they all came to be. Participants for this hike should bring water, sunscreen, hiking shoes and a hat.
WHEN: Saturday, March 2, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
WHERE: Meet at the White Domes Parking Lot
COST: This event is free of charge; however, Valley of Fire State Park does have a day-use fee of $10 per vehicle.
