Paint with a Ranger - Watercolor Painting Program

On this ranger-guided program, participants will go for a walk, find a quiet spot and paint a memory on paper. Park staff will offer basic painting instruction and provide watercolor supplies.

This event has a limited number of participants and is recommended for participants ages seven and up. Please call 702-875-4141 to reserve a spot. Group sign-ups will be limited to three people per group. If visitors are unable to reserve a spot but have their own painting supplies, they are welcome to bring them and join the program. Dress for the weather, bring sunscreen, a hat and water. Participants may also want to bring a yoga mat to sit on.

WHEN: Saturday, September 2 at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located 11 miles from the I-215 / West Charleston Boulevard intersection on Highway 159 at 6375 Nevada Highway 159, Blue Diamond, NV 89004.

COST: Entry into Spring Mountain State Park is $9 per vehicle, with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. An annual pass for Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is available for $65. There is no additional fee for this event.
