CANCELED: Paint with a Ranger

When you pick up a brush you stop merely looking at the world, you begin to see it. On this ranger-guided program you will go for an easy walk, find a quiet place, and make a memory on paper. We will offer basic painting instruction and all the watercolor supplies you need to get started.

Unlike most of our programs, we limit the number of participants for paint with a ranger. Please email jyelle@parks.nv.gov to reserve your spot. Group sign-ups will be limited to 3 people. If you are unable to reserve a spot but have your own painting supplies, you are welcome to bring them and join the program.

We recommend this program for everyone ages five and up. Wear sunscreen and a hat, and bring water and snacks. You may want to bring a yoga mat or camp chair to sit on. Entry to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is $10. An annual day-use-only pass for all Nevada State Parks is available for $75.
