Night Hike

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

Join park staff on a ranger-led hike to the moonlit-heights of Sandstone Canyon, beneath the star-lit eaves of our three-hundred year old ash tree grove. Glimpse what creatures come out at night, and see how moonlight transforms the Spring Mountain escarpment. This hike is about two miles long, and will cover rocky, uneven terrain. Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring water and a flashlight. This hike is appropriate for children ages seven and older and reservations are not required.

WHEN: Friday, March 30, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, located 11 miles down Highway 159 from the I-215 / West Charleston Boulevard intersection. 6375 Nevada Hwy 159, Blue Diamond NV 89004.

COST: Entry to Spring Mountain State Park is $10 per vehicle. Cash, Visa, and MasterCard are accepted at the fee station. There is no additional fee for this event.
