Introduction to Washoe Lake

Washoe Lake State Park

Discover what makes Washoe Lake such a special place. Park staff will discuss the area’s cultural and natural history before providing a virtual “tour” of the park and its hiking trails.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 18 at 7 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Equestrian Pavilion at Washoe Lake State Park. Take Exit 44 from I-580 and drive north approximately four miles. The park entrance will be on your left. Turn right past the fee booth, pass the campground and follow the short gravel road to the Equestrian Pavilion.
COST: The park entrance fee is $7/vehicle with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. There is no additional charge for this program.
