Guided Hike

Join park staff for a short hike to the top of the hill along Deadman’s Creek. There are great views of Washoe Valley from the gazebo. Participants should bring binoculars, a camera, water, sturdy hiking boots and an extra layer of clothing.
WHEN: Saturday, June 2, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Maze parking area at Washoe Lake State Park. Take Exit 44 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. approximately four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn left after the fee booth and it’s the first parking lot on the right.
COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle. Cash, checks, and credit cards. There is no additional charge for this program.
