Full Moon Night Hike
Join park staff on a ranger-led hike to the moon-lit heights of Sandstone Canyon, and beneath the star-lit eaves of the park’s three-hundred year old ash tree grove! Participants will glimpse what creatures come out at night, and see how nightfall transforms the Spring Mountain escarpment. This hike is about two miles long, and will cover rocky, uneven terrain. Please dress appropriately, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring water and a flashlight. This hike is appropriate for children ages seven and older. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a 6 foot or shorter leash and under control at all times. This event does not require a sign up or reservation and will start promptly at 4 p.m.
WHEN: Sunday, January 20, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
