First Day Hike

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

Start 2018 off right! Join park staff at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park at 10 a.m. on New Year’s Day for a ranger-guided hike to a surprise location. Wear warm clothing and closed-toed shoes, as it will be cold. This hike is recommended for children ages 7 and older. All participants should be able to move over uneven terrain for two hours. Total distance will be about two miles. Dogs on a leash are welcome, there is no need to register for this event.

WHEN: Monday, January 1 at 10 a.m.
WHERE: Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located 11 miles from the I-215 / West Charleston Boulevard intersection on Highway 159 at 6375 Nevada Highway 159, Blue Diamond, NV 89004.
COST: Entry to Spring Mountain State Park is $9 per vehicle, with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. An annual pass for Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is available for $65. There is no additional fee for this event.
