Earth Day Celebration

The Walker River State Recreation Area iinvites you to an Earth Day celebration. Come ready to make native Wildflower seed bombs, learn about bee's soil and enjoy multiple hikes with the rangers learning about nature. We will also be planting Cottonwoods and Willows along the river corridor. Enjoy awesome snacks while learning about the environment and conservation. Hope to see you there!

WHAT: Earth Day Celebration

WHEN: Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10:00am- 3:00pm

WHERE: Walker River State Recreation Area Pitchfork Unit, 211 East Walker Rd Yerington, NV.

WHO: The event is open to the public.

COST: Entrance fees are waved for volunteers
