Cancelled: Dutch Oven Demonstration

This event has been cancelled. Join the Northern Sierra Dutch Oven Group and Walker River State Recreation Area for a Dutch Oven demonstration on Saturday, June 13. Take in the vistas of Nevada’s newest state park while learning the basics of Dutch Oven cooking from seasoned instructors. Dutch Oven favorites including chili, cornbread and peach cobbler will be demonstrated and available for guests to sample - so bring your appetites! Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and beverages.

WHAT: Dutch Oven Demonstration

WHEN: Saturday June 13, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

WHERE: Walker River State Recreation Area Pitchfork Ranch Unit Day Use Group Area, 211 East Walker Rd. Yerington NV 89447

COST:  The event is free however there is a $5.00 per vehicle entrance fee for the park.
