Feel the electrifying “twang” of a bowstring. Experience the anticipation as your arrow hangs in the air between you and your target. Watch the smile bloom on your child’s face as their arrow sinks into the bullseye! On August 19 Spring Valley State Park will offer an archery target shooting program that conforms to National Archery in Schools Program safety standards. We provide all the equipment and training; you only need to bring your curiosity and a sharp eye! No prior archery experience is necessary. This program is recommended for everyone ages 10 and older.

There is room for twenty participants in each program, so you’ll need to call us to reserve a place at 775-962-5102 or email us at ecsp@parks.nv.gov. You may reserve up to four spots total for your group.

Please do not bring your own archery equipment to this program.

WHEN: Sunday, August 19, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

WHERE: Spring Valley State Park Group Use Area located 18 miles from Pioche on State Route 322.

COST: Entry to Spring Valley State Park is $5 per vehicle. An annual day use pass for all Nevada State Parks is available for $75. There is no additional fee for this event.

CONTACT: Jordan Adams, 775-962-5102 or 775-962-5103, ecsp@parks.nv.gov
