What Passed this way - Ranger-Led Walk for Children

Valley of Fire State Park

When you come to the park, it may be hard to spot the animals you were expecting to see. That is because most animals that live in the desert only come out at night. Join a ranger on a 1-mile, easy hike to learn why these animals only come out at night, and identify some of the tracks they leave behind. Guardians are required to accompany children on this walk. Participants should have good hiking shoes, water, sunscreen, and a hat.

WHEN: Saturday, March 23, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: Meet at the Rainbow Vista trailhead, located 1.5 miles north of the visitor center on White Domes Road.

COST: This event is free of charge; however, Valley of Fire State Park does have a day-use fee of $10 per vehicle.
