The next total solar eclipse to visit North America will be on April 8, 2024. Can’t make it to the path of totality? Come enjoy a partial eclipse from Fort Churchill (48% sun coverage). Park Interpreter, Kristin Sanderson, will be on hand to help you explore and make the most of this celestial event. Free ISO-certified solar eclipse glasses will be available while supplies last. Drop in anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Partial eclipse starts: 10:18 a.m.

Maximum coverage (48%): 11:20 a.m.

Partial eclipse ends: 12:26 p.m.

WHEN: Monday, April 8, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHERE: Meet at the Fort Churchill Museum. Fort Churchill is located 8 miles south of the Highway 95A/Highway 50 intersection on Highway 95A at 10000 Highway 95A, Silver Springs, NV 89429.

WHO: The program is open to the public and hosted by Fort Churchill State Historic Park.

COST: Park entrance fees apply, $5.00 per vehicle ($10.00 for non-Nevada vehicles). There is no additional cost to participate in the program.
