Cathedral Gorge State Park: The Park is located in a long narrow valley where erosion has carved dramatic and unique patterns in the soft bentonite clay. Trails abound for exploring the cave-like formations and cathedral-like spires. The Park is located in Lincoln County near the community of Panaca, Nevada.  ( About the Park )

Floyd Lamb State Park: Near Las Vegas, this park was an early water stop for Native Americans. In addition to the Tule Springs Ranch Historic Area, the park offers tree-shaded groves alongside four small fishing lakes.  ( About the Park )
