Passed during the 80th (2019) legislative session, The Outdoor Education and Recreation Grant Program seeks to provide quality opportunities for under-served Nevada Students to experience the outdoors. The goals of the program are to improve academic achievement and physical health while fostering an appreciation of nature.

Our Poster Contest is now open to all K-12th grade Nevada students until April 15, 2020. Rules can be found here.

This grant program is in its initial phase of developing criteria and is currently seeking funding and partnerships!

Are you a teacher or work for an outdoor education or recreation program in Nevada?  We want to hear from you!  Please complete the 2020 Needs Assessment Survey to help address the youth outdoor needs across the state.
