Safe Kayaking Classes

Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park Sand Harbor, Clearly Tahoe, Tahoe Jacks, and Tahoe Jacks will be hosting several introduction to safe kayaking classes in September and October.  These courses will familiarize students on how to proficiently use kayaks on Lake Tahoe, will cover common emergencies, and the required safety equipment.  The courses will be offered by trained kayak guides with years of experience operating on Lake Tahoe.  The courses will be open to students 12 years and older, any student under 18 will need a parent or guardian present.  For members of Scouts USA these courses will meet the requirements for the kayaking merit badge.

Each of these courses are being offered free of charge.  If you are interested in registering registration will be handled by each vendor on their website.
