Ranger-Guided Night Hike

Enjoy a ranger-led hike to the starlit-heights of Sandstone Canyon, beneath the eaves of the three-hundred year old ash tree grove. Visitors will glimpse what creatures come out at night and see how moonlight transforms Spring Mountain Ranch. This hike is about two miles long and will cover rocky, uneven terrain. Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes and bring water and a flashlight. This hike is appropriate for hikers ages seven and older.

WHEN: Friday, April 7 and 21, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located 11 miles from the I-215 / West Charleston Boulevard intersection on Highway 159 at 6375 Nevada Highway 159, Blue Diamond, NV 89004.

COST: Entry to Spring Mountain State Park is $9 per vehicle, with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. An annual pass for Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is available for $65. There is no additional fee for this event.
