Washoe Lake State Park

Full Moon Hike. Explore Washoe Lake State Park under the light of the full moon. Join park staff for a three mile, round-trip guided hike along the South Loop Equestrian Trail. Participants will learn about park wildlife taking in the sounds of coyotes and owls. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 775-687-4319 or e-mailing washoelake@hdiss.net

WHEN: Friday, November 3, at 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Equestrian Pavilion inside the park. Take Exit 44 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. approximately four miles. The park entrance will be on your left. Turn right past the fee booth, pass the campground and follow the short gravel road to the Equestrian Pavilion.
COST: The park entrance fee is $7 per vehicle with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. Please use the self-pay station at the park entrance. Cash or check only.

Tour of Washoe Lake State Park. Join park staff for a cup of hot chocolate and a virtual "tour" of Washoe Lake State Park. In this 45 minute PowerPoint presentation, park staff will discuss the park's history, facilities, hiking trails and more!
WHEN: Wednesday, November 15, from 7 to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the park office for this program. Take Exit 44 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. approximately four miles. The park office is on the right at 4855 Eastlake Blvd., Washoe Valley, NV 8974.
COST: This program is free, but donations are appreciated.
