Genoa Cowboy Festival

Mormon Station State Historic Park

From its 19th century beginnings, cowboys and ranching have shared work, words and music in the historic community of Genoa. The Town celebrates that rich history and tradition with its annual celebration of the Western lifestyle.

The Genoa Cowboy Festival features cowboy mercantile crafts and clothing, Western art exhibits, Old West living history re-enactors, and a variety of delicious food from popular local eateries.

All of the venues (with the exception of the opening night concert) are located within just a few blocks of each other in Genoa. Park once and you will be able to experience everything without getting back into a car or shuttle.

WHEN:  Friday - Sunday, April 28 - 30, at 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

WHERE: Mormon Station is located 20 minutes south of Carson City via Hwy 395, about one hour south of Reno, and, approximately 20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe via Hwy 207.

COST:  The mercantile at Mormon Station is free. All ages welcome. Concert tickets can be purchased at www.GenoaCowboyFestival.org
