Free Family Fishing Derby

Get hooked on fishing during Echo Canyon’s free fishing day and family fishing derby, no fishing license required. All limits and other regulations apply. Pre-registration is not required.

WHEN: Saturday, June 9, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

WHERE: Echo Canyon State Park

• 3 hours Northeast of Las Vegas: I-15 N to US-93 N to Pioche, NV then East NV-322.
  Head north on I-15 out of Las Vegas. Turn onto US-93 north at Apex following the Caliente/Pioche/Ely sign. Continue north on US-93 to the town of Pioche, Nevada. Follow the signs to Echo Canyon State Park.
• 1-1/2 hours Southeast of Ely: US-93 S to Pioche, NV then East NV-322.
  Head south on US-93 toward Pioche, Nevada. Turn East on Highway 322 and follow the signs to Echo Canyon State Park.
• 1-1/2 hours Northwest of Cedar City, Utah: West on 200N to UT-56W to NV-319 W to US-93 N to Pioche, NV then East NV-322.
  Turn left onto W 200 N.  Continue onto UT-56 W/W 400 N.  Continue to follow UT-56 W Entering Nevada.  Continue onto NV-319 W. Turn right onto US-93 N and continue to the town of Pioche, NV.  Turn East on Highway 322 and follow the signs to Echo Canyon State Park.
• 2 hours Northwest of St. George, Utah: S 700 E to UT-18 N to UT-56W to NV-319 W to US-93 N to Pioche, NV then East NV-322.
  Follow UT-18 north to UT-56 west. Continue onto NV-319 W. Turn right onto US-93 N and continue to the town of Pioche, NV.  Turn East on Highway 322 and follow the signs to Echo Canyon State Park.
