Start your New Year off right with a 4 mile hike at Nevada’s newest State Park, the Walker River State Recreation Area. Join park staff for a moderately difficult hike from the visitor center up to the Eagle’s Roost, where participants will toast in the New Year with refreshing apple cider while enjoying a view of the stunning Pitchfork Ranch.
WHAT: First Day Hike
WHEN: Wednesday, January 1, 2020, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

COST: Entrance fees are waved for hike participants.
