Easter Egg Hunt

Lahontan State Recreation Area

Lahontan State Recreation Area is proud to host its 22nd annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15. This popular family event includes candy, prizes and photos with the Easter Bunny. Due to generous donations from local businesses and residents, the park plans to hide several thousand eggs this year.

WHEN: Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Lahontan Recreation Day Use picnic areaThe Easter egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. sharp. The eggs are found very quickly and the hunt usually ends by 10:02, so don’t be late!  A raffle of prizes to follow. 

WHERE:  Lahontan Recreation Area, Day Use Picnic Area, 1971 Fir Avenue, Silver Springs. Off highway 95A and Fir Avenue.

COST: No cost for the event, park entrance fee is waived for participants and family.
