Sand Harbor boat ramp to close November 18Posted on Oct 24, 2013 in news | Comments Off
CARSON CITY, Nev. – Sand Harbor’s boat ramp will close November 18 due to low water conditions.
The parking lot will remain open for carry-in, non-motorized boating access only. All other boaters should use the Cave Rock boat ramp facility. Cave Rock is open during the winter season from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., 7 days a week.
This closure will prevent damage to boats, personal watercraft and launch lanes. Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park appreciates the public’s understanding in this matter and the safety measures the park is taking to protect property.
