Boating Advisory at Lake Lahontan State Recreation AreaPosted on Jun 28, 2013 in News | Comments Off
Fallon, Nev.— Due to low water levels, both launch ramps at the Silver Springs and the Fallon sides are closed. Beach launching is available at your own risk. Decreasing water levels continually expose new rock and sand bar hazards; extreme caution is advised for boats pulling skiers or traveling at higher speeds.
The Reservoir is open for camping, swimming, canoeing or fishing. Please contact the Silver Springs Ranger Station if you need more information (775) 577-2226.
