DAYTON, Nev. – Bats are misunderstood animals. During this program you will learn what they eat, where they live, and why they are important for us. You will also hear the sounds they make and see photos of bats from around the world.
WHAT: Bats: Truth or Tales
WHEN: Saturday, August 18 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
WHERE: Participants will meet at the Dayton State Park group reservation area.DaytonState Park is located off Hwy 50 one half mile east of the stoplight in the town ofDayton.
WHO: The event is open to the public. Local bat expert Brian Buttazoni will be presenting the program.
COST: There is no charge for the program, but there is a $ 7.00 per vehicle entry fee. Nevada residents receive a $ 2.00 discount.
