SILVER SPRINGS, Nev.– Hike through the ruins ofFortChurchillby the light of the full moon. This hike is an easy 0.6 miles, with one short hill from the museum down to the ruins. Learn the history of the Fort and explore the ruins. Discover what life was like for the soldiers stationed here.
WHAT: Guided Full Moon Hike
WHEN: Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the museum parking lot, behind the cannons.FortChurchill is located approximately eight miles south ofSilver Springs,NV on Highway 95A. Turn ontoFort Churchill Road and follow the signs into the park.
WHO: This event is open to the public and is sponsored byFortChurchillStateHistoricPark.
COST: This hike is included with the entry fee to the park. Entry to the park is $7 per vehicle with a $2 discount forNevada residents.
