WASHOE VALLEY, Nev. — Take a guided walk with a park ranger through Washoe’s wetlands to view birds, identify plants and learn which animals live in wetlands. Staff will have birding books on hand to use for this approximately two hour long program.
Bring binoculars to view birds and wildlife. This program is free and open to the public.
Participants will meet at the wetlands viewing area at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 25. The viewing area is located on East Lake Boulevard. Take U.S. 395 to exit 44 (East Lake Boulevard), go one mile north on East Lake Blvd and turn left into viewing area.
