PIOCHE, Nev.–A fish in eastern Nevada is worth $50,000 to the person lucky enough to catch it.
Registration for the Tagged Fishing Event has begun, and it is not too late to register. The event will be on April 28, from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., and April 29, from 7 a.m. – noon, at both Echo Canyon and Spring Valley state parks.
One tagged fish is worth $50,000 and competitors must have a valid Nevada Fishing License to enter the event.
Registration is available at the Eagle Valley Resort in Ursine, Nevada on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is open to all ages and the registration fee is $25.
The event is being sponsored by Eagle Valley Resort, Penta, Lange Plumbing, Elevation Signworks, Ed Wright, Rafael Construction, Hurst Sports Center and Diesel Specialists Inc.
